Returned to work after being off sick on Friday 27 December 2019. As I had been off work for a couple of weeks I spent the day catching up on my emails. I also managed to have a look at my in-tray to see what was in there and how far behind I was with my expired pending and matched work. As some were from mid November, I had a look at these and managed to process them.

 Unfortunately during this period I was off work sick (back in spasm, trapped sciatic nerve during spasm)

Wednesday 27.11.2019 Spent the morning going through the UC ATLAS I had received for this week. Checking when each claim had last been updated and if the income update I had received was a significant change or not.  I also received some new work in my tray which is a brand new way of working to reduce the UC ATLAS workload.  Each ATLAS batch is now being given to GovTech who will strip out any unnecessary notifications and then send it back to us to be loaded to Northgate and Anite. For each set of ATLAS notifications there will be a corresponding PDF document in Anite and the work is now distributed as new tray work rather than a list of ATLAS to accept on a spreadsheet.  I found the new PDF's a lot easier to read and interpret than the previous way we worked.  The afternoon was my study time.  Thursday 28.11.2019 Spent today doing normal ATLAS work. Wednesday 20.11.2019 Caught up with UC ATLAS and normal ATLAS work. Nothing outstanding in this work, mainly bog standard change of addresses and income updates.  Thursday 21.11.2019 Annual leave. Friday 22.11.2019 System down so did my study day today. Not a great week for processing due to annual leave and system down time. 

Wednesday 13.11.2019 Spent the morning on accepting UC ATLAS items for income changes or terminates.  PM - Apprenticeship study time Thursday 14.11.2019 Went through my normal ATLAS list. This included a lot of pension updates or death notifications.  Also managed to look through the matched work in my tray and calculated some of these.  Friday 15.11.2019 Completed two VEP tasks. These were for updated income. The income had not had a significant change so amended from paid to point and recalculated. Went through my expired pending. Overall this week hasn't had anything out of the ordinary, no cases have stood out to me.
